Race Results

2016 Race Results are here

Thank you for coming out to make this race fun!  Congratulations to all!  Did today’s result tell you you’re ready for your longer race? Or just tell you to retire from running?!  We’ll add links to photo pages in a few days when we get them.

Cheers,

Michael B

Flat and Fast
Flat is beautiful, fast is fun. And scenic… see Toronto’s shoreline and skyline, the island, a lagoon, bird sanctuaries. Ten miles is 16k so for those aiming for a half, it’s the perfect long run. For those aiming for a marathon, combine it with a warm-up run and cool-down run and you’ve just done your last long training run. SIGN UP!
What’s In It For You? WIIFY?
  • Light, technical running toque (technical fabric)
  • Kingbird medal v.1Fantastic finisher medal –  Last year we featured a Monarch Butterfly on our medal. This year we feature another of the many beautiful creatures inhabiting Tommy Thompson Park, the Eastern Kingbird.  The bird portion of the medal will be polished silver metal. Start your 10-Miler Fauna collection this year or add to it… you NEED these in your medal collection!
  • Good food, fantastic venue and race courses, prizes for overall & age group winners

Help keep this parkland healthy and vibrant… donate to The Living City Foundation, our event charity.

And then it dawned on me…  Morning views from our park locations… pretty spectacular. Thanks to one of our finish line volunteers, Bill Haust, for the one silhouetting runners and Mark Spik, a water station manager, for the sunrise shot!
